Partners

Over the years we have been working with the key institutions in Poland. They were our teachers or change-making partners. We also belong to several international networks that focus on things important to us: openness, democratic accountability of power, ethical public life and human rights. Among important partners we have some organizations abroad who had a significant impact on our development.

The Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights

The Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights has been our partner since 2009 in educational initiatives for watchdogs. We also cooperate on human rights campaigns.

The Stefan Batory Foundation

The Stefan Batory Foundation supported us when we began. We have been working together on developing watchdog activities in Poland since 2007.

The Henrich Böll Foundation

The Henrich Böll Foundation is our partner in strengthening openness in Poland. Together, we intend to reach every Polish municipality.

OPORA

The Civil Network OPORA is our twin organisation in Ukraine. We have been cooperating on educational initiatives for watchdogs since 2008 as well as making government bodies more transparent. We are learning from and inspiring each other, at the same time becoming closer and closer.

Access Info Europe

Access Info Europe invited us to the network of the European organizations aiming at increasing transparency of governance in Europe. It is focused not only on the European institutions but also changing standards on the national level in Europe.

The European Centre for Not-for-Profit Law

The European Centre for Not-for-Profit Law is an organisation which we got to know when thinking about the future of watchdogging. We have been cooperating on promoting and strengthening civil control in various European countries.

EU-Russia Civil Society Forum

We are a member of the EU-Russia Civil Society Forum.

European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights

We are a member of the Civil Society and Fundamental Rights Platform at Fundamental Rights Agency.

Ashoka

We belong to Ashoka – an organisation focusing on innovators working for the public good. They have been assessing our strategy of building social movement for transparency in government since 2009.

CASE – Coalition Against SLAPPs in Europe

We are a member of CASE. CASE is a coalition of non-governmental organisations from across Europe united in recognition of the threat posed to public watchdogs by Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation (SLAPPs)

National Federation of Non-Governmental Organisations

We are a member of the National Federation of Non-Governmental Organisations.

ALTER EU

We belong to ALTER EU which aims to introduce a transparent and ethical creation of rights at European level.

FOI Advocates Network

We are a member of the FOI Advocates Network – an international network of organisations campaigning for the right to information.

The Coalition for Open Government

The Coalition for Open Government is an initiative which we jointly established with other organisations in 2012. Its aim was to bring Poland into international initiatives on transparent government. We work together to check how the state is performing in this area.

PSIK – Polish Private Equity and Venture Capital Association

PSIK – Polish Private Equity and Venture Capital Association. The Association, along with Ashoka, prepared a development program in which social entrepreneurs work with private equity investors on the identified challenges. Watchdog Poland has been working on its sustainability with Erik Hallgren from Equtin since 2013.
